Harvested plant material was placed in a burlap bag, the servants using sticks to wring it out. In this process they turned it in the opposite direction, so that the extruded liquid dripped into a collecting vessel. Romans at schoolThere were three types of Roman school and, accordingly are teachers and the Romans that are thought in those schools: elementary, grammar and literature classes the upper class students were mostly taught at home.
